The fact you have already tried to stop means that you have acknowledged that smoking is bad for you and that you would be better off without it. Do not be discouraged just because you have tried once and have been unsuccessful. For some people it takes multiple attempts at quitting before they finally succeed. If you tried a particular method that did not work for you then try to discover if there was a specific reason for this. There are many different products available to help you stop smoking. If you are unsuccessful with one then simply try another one. This is not a "three strikes and you're out" deal. If you did not succeed because of a lack of application on your part, however, then you may need to re-examine your desire to quit. Almost any treatment will fail if you are not prepared to make the required effort to stop smoking.
