The Blis K12 Fresh Breath Kit contains a tongue scraper, a two part pre-treatment mouthwash and 80 pieces of chewing gum containing the naturally-occurring, beneficial oral bacteria, Streptococcus salivarius K12. The Blis K12 Fresh Breath Kit contains eight weeks supply.
The live bacteria contained in Blis K12 Fresh Breath chewing gum are intended to displace the problem causing bacteria often responsible for bad breath.
Research studies have shown that people with healthy breath typically have high levels of the beneficial oral bacterium Streptococcus salivarius living on their tongue, whereas people with bad breath either have low levels or no Streptococcus salivarius and their tongues instead become inhabited with problem-causing bacteria responsible for bad breath.
